Started fishing about 3:30 pm and fished till 7:00pm. Winds were strong and that seems to be the norm! Found fish on humps, but a lot of mixed fish of sizes. We fished one point that had shad popping out of the water, but I guess they were just happy…. No fish with them. We did a lot off hybrid hunting that day, not much luck on the big ones. Plenty of whites , just had to pick thru them… the trick was to raise that slab high. Water was 62 degrees, winds were annoying . All fish caught on TNT 180’s and Moe’s sss slabs in 8-29ft water.
The bigger whites are spawning on Hubbard and for me harder to find unless we find birds… the smaller fish are stacked real good on windward areas. It is almost time for the fish to be real shallow
