Lake Ray Hubbard Fishing Report
Lake Ray Hubbard fall fishing is just around the corner . In October when the cold fronts start moving thru they start to get active once again . Many people do not realize how good fall and winter fishing can be on Lake Ray Hubbard. The water temps start cooling and the fish know it is time to eat. In the hottest part of the summer, white bass and hybrids are very spread out and when you do find a big school it's hard to get them to bite. Trolling is a very popular way to catch fish in the summer. What I love about fall and winter fishing is the start of chunking and reeling . The fish will start getting shallow once again and as it gets even colder the gulls move in. I will throw tail spinners and 4 inch CoCo Moes swim baits with a 1/2 dead head jig head from www.moestackleshop.com. . On the flip side the slab bite will pick up and usually bouncing them back to you works to perfection . Late October and November is also hybrid time in the shallows . I throw 4 inch sassy shads with 3/4 oz jig heads into as little as 6 inches of water for these beast . Fall and winter fishing rank with Spring fishing ... The best part is there is hardly anybody on the water , even on the weekends . If you have any questions just give me a call , text or email.
Thank you
