Lake Ray Hubbard Fishing Report | Whitebass|Hybrids

Sorry for not posting much this winter.. I have been pretty busy .. I have also lost a lot of photos for some reason as I think I deleted them:( November provided some good shallow water fishing.. I would throw 1/2 jig heads with 3 inc Co Co Ho bodies.. The hybrid fishing was off and on but mostly white bass. The fish have now been in their winter pattern in deep water. I am using 1 oz jig heads with a short shank hook , with small flukes .. Find the balls of bait and you find the fish .. you will miss a lot of fish during this time of year .. When you locate the fish , be sure to turn the sensitivity up on your graph, drop your jig behind the boat or by your trolling motor and watch your lure drop.. reel up to where the fish are right above their heads... dead sticking is the key, but I will also very slowly raise the jig.. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas.. I have over 20 yrs experience fishing Lake Ray Hubbard and over 10 yrs guiding .. give me a call if you would like a trip or learn how to fish in the winter .. Thank you for a wonderful year !!
