Had the chance to fish with good friends JV4 and Gene R. today on the big pond Talked to JD Lyle the day before and he has been whacking the fish. JD pointed us in the right direction and we did really well Started at 7:30 am and finished at 12:30pm. Winds were kind of strong at first but died down later in the morning. I love winter fishing on the big pound and if you get a chance to go it is worth the trip. We caught fish all morning and until we left. As JD would say, the toughest decision is to pick which flock of birds to fish. I talked to JD later that morning and he was tucked away catching fish with no birds or boats Later him and the TNT gang came by to chat , good seeing you guys. We seen Big Dad , Brad and Malic out as well. We ended up catching 75 fish + or - a couple and they were quality fish. Not very many small ones but no double digits.
