Fishing was pretty good Friday morning on the whites and smaller hybrids… we did catch a few legal hybrids but nothing huge. We tried a few new spots since the regulars are getting a little crowded, I guess word of mouth spreads very quick. Found fish shallow to start off with on the east shore and then worked the flats with birds. The good thing is that when the birds stopped the fish stayed… that is a good sign. The windier days are producing better and the whites are starting their fall feeding. Caught some nice 13-14 inches mixed with a few smaller. It will only get better …. We started early with swim baits, CO-HO’S and smacks from MOE’S then slabs produced better on the flats for some reason.
